Career Direction
My short term target at International Islamic
University Malaysia is to finish my study and gain my degree by 2015.During this
period I am going to make myself proficient in Mandarin, English and Arabic
languages. It is because proficiency in these languages are necessary for me in
order to communicate with people in Malaysia and internationally.
Extra Co-Curricular Activities
As for my curricular activities, I had joined
different kind of programs under different clubs organized by the university. For
example, Inter Women Debate Championship
at Universiti Institut Teknologi Mara as an adjudicator and Niche Debate Tournament
at International Islamic University Malaysia as a debater. These programs
developed my communication and creative-problem solving skills.
Leadership and interpersonal skills
I developed my leadership and interpersonal skills
by being an active member of several organizations in the International Islamic
University Malaysia campus. As an assistant head of bureau research and
development for Political Sciences Student Association, I am in charge of
planning a program that could inculcate critical thinking skill among
university students. One of the programs which I had organized is an intellectual
discourse regarding the Secularism in Turkey. This program succeeded in gathering
international and local students to participate in the discussion.
Volunteer
In 2013, I was one of the fund raising organizers of
International Islamic University Malaysia needy students which was held at Pulau
Pinang,Malaysia. It resulted in donations worth RM2000 from Deputy Chief
Minister of Pulau Pinang.
My leisure time
I am an
outdoor person. When I have time I do some travelling. For me travelling can
make a person understands more about the local culture, flora and fauna and it
makes me appreciate the nature. Other than that, it taught me to be good in
time planning and patience. It helps in reducing my burden of stress from
studying. I enjoy doing outdoor activities so much. This kind of self-treatment
need to be done once in a time in order for me to always get back on track and
have a fresh start. In other words, outdoor activities are my preferred way to
rejuvenate.
